Founder & Principal
Tristin brings more than eight years of experience across automotive regulation, vehicle certification, and compliance. As a former U.S. EPA Automotive Regulatory Engineer, he evaluated federal vehicle certification submissions, interpreted complex regulatory requirements, and engaged with automotive manufacturers regarding technical and compliance matters arising during the certification process.
His experience spans vehicle certification, fuel economy labeling, regulatory reporting, compliance evaluations, certification and compliance testing oversight, and the interpretation and application of federal regulatory requirements. This regulator-side perspective provides clients with practical insight into the technical and regulatory considerations that shape vehicle certification and compliance programs.
Through Perimeter Mobility Advisors, Tristin helps automotive organizations navigate certification, homologation, regulatory compliance, and launch-readiness challenges with clear, technically grounded guidance tailored to each client’s objectives.
Tristin holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Through years of work in the automotive regulatory space, he has also developed relationships with experienced regulatory, technical, and legal professionals who can provide complementary expertise or referrals when specialized support is needed.
